This architecturally significant home was commissioned to be built by Bud Oglesby, Dallas' own mid-century modern architect. He had an undergrad at Cornell and M.I.T. Master's graduate then owner of Oglesby Group Architects in Dallas. Staying true to his love of light, he had lots to work with here amongst the rolling hills of Las Colinas and its golf course setting. When he built this home, he always kept in mind the influence of Frank Lloyd Wright. Located on the 18th hole of Cottonwood Valley Golf Course, you enter to a clear view through the wall of windows to the 21' x 6' limestone water tower and lower falls in the backyard. The Tower was hand-carved and signed by renowned Dallas Sculpture Sandy Stein. The pool is black plaster. As the area grew, Las Colinas became the heart of the DFW Metroplex.
